Did you Know: The Song That Nearly Altered BTS's Fate Right Before Their Meteoric Rise

On December 20th, HYBE Corporation and Disney Media Distribution released the first two episodes of the much-awaited documentary, BTS Monuments: Beyond the Story. These two episodes, titled "The Beginning" and "Adolescence", offer an intimate and unfiltered look into the lesser-known moments of BTS's journey.

In a pivotal moment revealed in the documentary "BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star," RM disclosed how BTS faced a crisis after the comeback with "Danger" fell short of expectations. 

The pressure was immense, and the fear of negative repercussions for the company loomed large. Jin expressed that during that challenging period, "It felt like it was the end for us."

Struggling with financial difficulties, the company and the group found themselves in a lose-lose situation. "Danger" not only failed to secure a first-place win but also swiftly left the charts. The disappointment led to burnout, impatience, and internal arguments among the members.

However, their resilience prevailed. BTS channelled those emotions into their album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1," turning their fortunes around.  BTS achieved the first win with "I NEED U," altering their destiny and solidifying their status as global legends. 

This album song marked the beginning of their extraordinary journey to success, proving that perseverance and determination can transform setbacks into opportunities. If they had given up after “Danger”, BTS might have missed the chance to become the global legends they are today.
