BTS's V Progresses to Special Duty Team Training Amidst Fanfare and Recognition

In a pivotal turn of events, global sensation BTS's Kim Taehyung, also known as V, has embarked on specialized Special Duty Team training after successfully completing a rigorous five-week basic training at the Nonsan Training Center.

The Special Duty Team training, lasting three weeks, is renowned for its demanding nature, featuring intensive physical sessions that extend into the night. Activities include automatic target live ammunition, rappelling, close-quarters battle, and more, guided by experts from different military branches.

Despite the challenges, this phase brings increased freedom, phone usage, and access to amenities like television for trainees. Fans have displayed unwavering support, lining V's route with banners expressing lifelong loyalty to him and his unit.

Prior to this, V earned the esteemed title of 'Elite Trainee' within the '27th Training Regiment' on January 16, a recognition of his exceptional skills during basic training. This honor, shared with RM, marked them as two of six elite trainees selected from a pool of 200 participants in their regiment.

In parallel developments, fellow BTS members Jimin and Jungkook completed basic military training at the 5th Division Recruit Training Center on January 17. While V advances into Special Duty Team training, Jimin and Jungkook reportedly join Jin at the 5th Infantry Division.
