BTS member Suga has been fined ₩15 million KRW (approximately $11,200 USD) by the Seoul Court for riding an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol. The court issued the summary order, bringing an official conclusion to the Daechwita rapper's DUI case. The fine matches the prosecution’s earlier request made on September 11, 2024.

The incident occurred on August 6, 2024, when Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi, was caught riding an electric scooter with a blood alcohol level of 0.227%, well above the legal limit. After being charged, the rapper made several appearances at the police station and issued a public apology.
