On August 21 at approximately 8:19 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for their 2019 hit song “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube! This marks the group’s second music video to do so after “Dynamite” and the second Korean boy group music video to achieve this feat.

K-Pop idol group BTS’s “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey) music video has surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube. This song is from their mini album, MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, released in April 2019.

With this, they now have two music videos that have achieved this milestone. Immediately after its release, the song entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number eight and charted for eight consecutive weeks.

“Boy With Luv” has now also become the fifth K-pop music video to hit 1.7 billion views overall, joining the ranks of PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love,” and BTS’s very own “Dynamite.”
