BTS will be soon turning 8 years old. They shared their thoughts and also announced an online event for their upcoming 8th anniversary.
After they released their new single Butter on 21st May, they held their press conference and the group shared their thoughts on their upcoming 8th anniversary i.e on June 13.
Jimin: “For the last six months, we’ve actually contemplated a lot on our group’s future — how we should continue our relationship with fans and how we should satisfy them with new sides of ourselves. Since we wanted to keep showcasing our good sides, I had lots of worries.“
RM: “Our biggest concern is, obviously, our future. What would be our function in this new-normal era? What’s the meaning of our existence? For whom do we make music? What’s as important as the Grammys is how we are going to realize our value and remain meaningful”
V: “It’s a meaningful eighth anniversary but it’s a shame in part. We have the “Festa” upcoming for ARMYs but it’ll be done online. Plus, there’re many stages that we couldn’t share. It’s sad that so many events are held without Armys on-site. But still, we’ll try our best.”
BTS also made an announcement that they will also the online live-streaming event “BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO” on the occasion of their group’s 8th anniversary
It will be a two-day event that will be held on 13th June and 14th June and will be a “WORLD TOUR VERSION” with some of the act’s foreign language songs. The information regarding the tickets will be announced later.
