BTS is back at the UN and the KPop group has been invited to give a speech of hope during the 75th UN General Assembly. On September 22, UNICEF Korea that BTS’s message of hope to the world during the Coronavirus pandemic will be unveiled during the 75th UN General Assembly.
This will be BTS’s second speech at the UN General Assembly. The first speech was in 2018 and they delivered their famous “LOVE MYSELF” speech.
The message will be relayed on September 23, 9am EST (10pm KST).
BTS has been shattering records the world over. Their first English track has been making news all over the world. It had been on top for two weeks straight. Now, it has slipped to No. 2, but it is still going strong.
The United Nations Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security invited BTS as a special speaker to address the future generations. During the hard times of the Coronavirus pandemic, the UN believes that BTS’ message will be enlivening for the world.
The United Nations Group of Friends of Solidarity for Global Health Security was formed earlier this year. This body was formed under the aegis of South Korea UN committee. It’s priority is to discuss health and security issues, such as the Coronavirus pandemic.
There are currently 40 participating countries in this body.
