Few days back we were introduced to the engaging psychological thrillers like Pataal Lok and Asur. The season 2 of Breathe, based on similar theme, comes with mammoth expectations considering it marks the digital debut of Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen into the digital world. Is the 12 episodes long web series worth watching ? Let us find out ..

Breathe Into The Shadows tells the story of Avinash Sabharwal (Abhishek Bachchan) as a desperate father who is searching for his missing daughter, Siya. He is supported by Nithya Menen who plays his wife, Abha, and Amit Sadh who returns as Kabir Sawant, helping in the investigation.
Directed by Mayank Sharma, Breathe Season 1 starring R Madhavan and Amit Sadh was well received by the audience and the critics alike when it was released in 2018.
Prabhas And Pooja Hegde Starrer Prabhas 20 Is Titled Radhe Shyam
Unlike the season 1 which talks about a normal person turning into a violent killer to save his daughter, Breathe Season 2 deals with the origin of pyschological killer and the motive behind each murder. The director also defines the concepts of diverse emotions referring to the 10 headed- Ravana’s perspective making him the protagonist in the web-series.

Unfortunately, the concept does not turn into an engaging watch. The 12 episodes over-long web series will test your patience as the story hardly moves through the episodes. The web series gives you some hope in the initial episodes but loses the steam and falls flat on the surface. Probably, the identity of the kidnapper could have been best kept secret until the climax but was already revealed right in the middle of the series. From here onward, it becomes the face-off between the two personalities residing in one which hardly makes any impact.

The story is as confusing as it goes haywire and too much disruptions causes the film to halt as it never recovers. The screenplay is weak while editing is extremely poor. The web-series has been shot well in the picturesque location of Delhi and Nanital while the art direction is impressive.
TV actors Who Were Successful in Bollywood !!
The only saving grace in this film is Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh who gave commendable performances. I wish Nitya Menen and Saiyami Kher would have been given more meatier role still they did fine with their respective characters
