Soon after, the audio clip has gone viral on the Internet and all the Twitter users and BJP leaders are raising their voice against the scenario and asking to boycott the channel.
The topic of the radio show was racism against Sikh and Indians in the UK and ongoing farmer protests in Delhi.
The caller is identified as ‘Simon’ who made offensive remarks against Narendra Modi and his mother Heeraben Modi.
The host tried his best to divert the discussion to normal but it was too late as it already reached millions.
This led to the trend #BoycottBBC. The hashtag is trending with almost 1 lakhs tweets. And #BanBBC is trending on number two.
Some BJP leaders have also joined the trend and have used the hashtags.
