Pushpa 2: The Rule breaks the Box Office and this major SRK record!

Pushpa is here to rule the theatres, and it’s clear by the Box Office collection of its opening day itself, making history and breaking records with each screening. On Day 1, it became the biggest opening for a film in Hindi cinema, breaking the record previously held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is transcending the boundary of language as it collected Rs 95.1 crore in Telugu and made Rs 72 crore in Hindi. In Tamil, the film collected Rs 7 crore, Rs 5 crore and Rs 1 crore in Malayalam and Kannada. The Day 1 collection reaches a staggering Rs 165 crore, and clubbing with Rs 10.1 crore from Telugu Previews on Wednesday takes the sum to Rs 175.1 crores. According to reports, the worldwide collection of Pushpa 2: The Rule is approximately Rs 282.91 crore.

Apart from Box Office collections, Pushpa 2: The Rule also broke major records on its opening day. It recorded the highest opening collection for Hindi Cinema, breaking the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which made Rs 65.5 crore at the Box Office. Another major record that Pushpa 2’s Rs 175.1 crore smashed was SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which made Rs 133 crore nett on its opening day, making Pushpa 2: The Rule the biggest opener in Indian Cinema. 

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna will get a long weekend to thrill the audience with its action packed storyline. The early projections of the film suggest it could break another major record, becoming the highest grossing Indian film of all time.
