Kalki Beats Jawan At The BOX OFFICE INDIA; 4th Highest Grossing Film

Prabhas, Deepika Padukon & Amitabh Bachchan starring Kalki 2898 AD has beaten Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan at the domestic Box office becoming the fourth highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Nag Ashwin directorial, Kalki grossed Rs 640.6 crore nett in 40 days, while the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer earned Rs 640.25 crore nett in its run in India. The biggest Indian entertainer of 2024 so far, 'Kalki 2898 AD' has surpassed 'Jawan' in terms of both the gross and the nett collection at the domestic box office.

The film continues to run in theatres even in its sixth week at the box office. The film was released in 6 different languages while the Hindi language version has collected the highest business of around Rs 350 crore gross and Rs 290 crore nett. The Telugu version has amassed around Rs 335 crore gross so far.

The film is not expected to break any other records as it sits on the fourth place of highest grossing Indian films just below RRR (Rs 782.2 crore). On the other hand, Prabhas starring Baahubali 2 ranks on the top position with collection of Rs 1030.42 crore. In terms of records Kalki is expected to break OTT viewership. The film is set to release on Prime Video on August 23 tentatively.
