Among the notable releases, 'Animal,' starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, stormed the screens with an unstoppable force akin to a tsunami. Concurrently, Vicky Kaushal's exceptional portrayal in 'Sam Bahadur' earned accolades, despite facing challenges in forging a strong audience connection following its simultaneous release with 'Animal.' On another front, the Telugu film 'Hi Nanna,' a collaborative effort between Natural Star Nani and actress Mrunal Thakur, directed by Shouryuv, hit theatres on December 7th, swiftly winning hearts with positive reviews and making waves on the big screen across multiple languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Surpassing Aamir Khan's 'PK' and Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' 'Animal' emerged as the 7th highest-grossing film in the USA. With a robust $9.3 million opening week, the film added $2.3 million in its second weekend, totalling $11.6 million. Poised to surpass records set by 'Padmaavat' and 'Dangal,' the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has unexpectedly transformed into an epic ride, reaching the remarkable milestone of 700 crores.
