Yami And Aditya Decide To Keep Their Son Away From The Media
Yami Gautam together with husband Aditya Dhar have chosen to protect their son from media attention. Yami Gautam said she desires her child to experience a typical childhood.
In an interview, Yami Gautam said, "You won't see him. I mean, that's a very personal choice which Aditya and I have taken. I think a child deserves a childhood which every other child needs to have. It has a psychological impact and we want him to just enjoy this life, to enjoy this blessing," she added.
One month after her 35th birthday Aditya Dhar posted an image of Yami holding their newborn baby boy. Within the picture Yami Gautam poses with her son Vedavid. Yami Gautam appears in the picture laughing joyously with Vedavid Dhar hiding his face from the photographer. The caption read, "Happy Birthday to my better half!! Love You Vedu ki Mummy!"
The couple announced the baby's arrival in May (2024) sharing a post. The couple shared a picture of Lord Krishna holding a baby boy on their respective feeds. The caption on the picture read, "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beloved son, Vedavid, who graced us with his birth on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya. Please shower him with all your kind blessing and love. Warm regards Yami & Aditya."
The audience knows Yami Gautam from her starring roles in Vicky Donor, Bala, Badlapur and OMG 2. Aditya Dhar took charge of directing Uri-The Surgical Strike which established itself as one of the most profitable films at the box office. The couple met naturally developed romantic feelings during production of their movie. They decided to maintain secrecy about their relationship before getting married.
