Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has recently moved out of his iconic bungalow in Bandra, also known as Mannat, along with his wife and kids. This drastic change was due to the renovation work at the bungalow that will begin in May.

SRK has been living in the Bandra residence for 20 years since the late 90s. Khan will temporarily relocate to another luxury apartment in Bandra. He will move to Puja Casa, located in the elite area of Pali Hill. The building, Puja Casa, is co-owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, his son actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, and daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh. The renovation work will last for 2-3 years, which means SRK has to live at Puja Casa for 3 years.

The actor has leased two duplex apartments on the building's first, second, seventh, and eighth floors for ₹8.67 crore. The rest of the floors are occupied by the other residents of the building. The renovation work at Mannat is set to begin in May, which includes the extension of the bungalow, for which Shah Rukh had to get the court's permission. Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure; any structural change can occur after securing proper permissions.

Khan will move to Puja Casa along with wife Gauri Khan and kids, Suhana, Aryan and AbRam. Bhagnanis have been residing in Puja Casa for many years now. Vashu Bhagnani and his wife live in the building along with their children, even Jackky Bhagnani and his wife Rakul Preet Singh live in the building. Until the Khans move back into a new and restored Mannat, the Bhagnanis are going to be SRK and the family's neighbors for the next two to three years.
