It's been 21 years since the release of Koi... Mil Gaya, a film that continues to enjoy a massive fan following. Written, directed, and produced by Rakesh Roshan, the science fiction drama stars Hrithik Roshan, Rekha, and Preity Zinta, with a screenplay co-written by Sachin Bhowmick, Honey Irani, and Robin Bhatt. The film was re-released on its 20th anniversary, drawing crowds back to theaters. If you missed it, you can catch the blockbuster on ZEE5 or OTTplay Premium.

Rakesh Roshan, inspired by the success of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), sought to collaborate with his son Hrithik on a new project. Roshan won Best Director for Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai at the 2nd IIFA Awards in June 2001, where he announced Koi... Mil Gaya. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Roshan's brother, Rajesh Roshan, while American artists Craig Mumma and Mark Clobe invested ₹4 crore in its visual effects.
