Dharma Productions & Sikhiya Entertainment came up with a genre film 'Kill' this month and the movie not only dived into the goriet side of violence which Indian audiences were missed off but also gave industry a new talent- Lakshya!
Lakshya made his acting debut through teen show Warrior High. He went on to do more TV shows, finally landing the lead role in the popular historical show Porus. This is when he became a household face, which landed him a Dharma film 'Dostana 2' which was later shelved. Finally, he was casted in Kill, where he could show his true potential as an actor.
Kill, an action thriller film, which premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. Though the film collected finely on the box office, the film and especially Lakshya was lauded by the critics for making such a different yet nuanced film in Bollywood.
Kill was even compared to the action films made in Hollywood. Even Filmmaker Chad Stahelski, best known for directing Hollywood blockbuster franchise John Wick was so impressed by this film, that he officially wants to remake the Kill. Lakshya deserved all the appreciation as he actually turned into heavy practice sessions for few months. No wonder he put that fiery show on the screen!
Fans are excited to see Lakshya on screen again. He is all set to be a part of Stardom, a streaming series created by Aryan Khan.
