Sidharth Malhotra opts out of another cop project to do something fresh

Since the beginning of the year, Sidharth Malhotra  has been linked to several projects ranging from action to romance. Sidharth, who was offered a role as a cop in an upcoming film, has opted out of the project. The actor is reportedly considering new genres, having previously played a hero in uniform in projects like the National Award Winning Film ‘Shershaah’,‘Indian Police Force’ and ‘Yodha’. 

Sources close to the actor state that he has been turning down roles in uniform for now, preferring to take up roles that allow him to showcase his versatility as an actor and explore more varied genres of films. His upcoming projects include Murad Khetani’s next and an untitled romantic film which has garnered much interest from fans and others in the industry.
