Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has 91.4 million followers on Instagram, just ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has 91.3 million. Modi is still the most-followed global leader on X (formerly Twitter) with over 101.2 million followers. Kapoor is now the third most-followed Indian on Instagram, behind cricket star Virat Kohli and actress Priyanka Chopra.

On X, Prime Minister Modi is far ahead of other world leaders like US President Joe Biden, Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed, and Pope Francis. The official PMO account has over 56 million followers. Among Indian politicians, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has 26.7 million followers, while Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has 27.6 million followers. X is owned by billionaire Elon Musk

 Shraddha Kapoor is celebrating the success of her new film, the horror comedy "Stree 2," which hit theaters on August 15. The film, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is close to earning ₹300 crore worldwide at the box office. It's a sequel to the 2018 hit "Stree." It faced competition from "Khel Khel Mein" and "Vedaa," which also released on the same day.
