Many of the star kids are taking their first steps in the film industry, though being criticised for receiving unfair advantages. Bollywood power couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn are two fine and versatile actors in the industry. Hence, the question of whether their children will join the film industry has come across many people’s minds. Recently, in an interview Kajol made a shocking revelation about Nysa Devgn’s future plans.
Kajol said, "Bilkul nai. No! I think, woh 22 saal ki ho gayi hai, hone wali hain abhi. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi.”
Kajol was also asked what advice she would give to young actors, to which she said, “Firstly, I’d like to say — please don’t take advice from everyone. Most importantly, because if you go around asking, ‘What should I do?’ a hundred people will line up and say, ‘You should do this, change your nose, change your hands, change your hair colour, do this, do that.’"
She further added, "And I think — this is strictly my opinion — that it’s your individuality that makes you stand out. The people we remember the most are those who stood out from the crowd, not the ones who blended in. And I think that’s the real secret to success, whether it’s on social media or in acting. But like they say — please don’t take my advice!"
In the same interview, Kajol remembered how her mother, veteran actress Tanuja, had asked her if she would be using her full name when she first announced her intention to pursue a career in movies. My mother asked me if I wanted to use my full name because I have such an amazing lineage - from my grandmother and grandfather’s side as well.”
She further opened up on why she does not use any surname, "I wanted to be true to myself and did not want the baggage of lineage. That’s why I thought if I am known simply by the name Kajol, maybe there wouldn’t be as much pressure on me."
Kajol was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Do Patti’, starring alongside Kriti Sanon. She will be next seen in the horror thriller ‘Maa’ set to release on June 27, 2025.
