Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj Reunite After 7 Years, Triptii Dimri Added to the Cast

On Friday, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment announced their collaboration with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, along with actors Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, for an upcoming untitled project. The team shared a collage on social media featuring Shahid, Triptii, Vishal, and Sajid Nadiadwala.

The announcement says, “I’m thrilled to join forces with the genius director, my dear friend Vishal Bhardwaj, and the phenomenal powerhouse Shahid Kapoor! It’s an honour to welcome the incredibly gifted Triptii Dimri to the #NGEfamily… -Love #SajidNadiadwala”

 

 

Shahid was last seen in the sci-fi romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. His next project is Deva, an action-packed thriller where he plays a police officer. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati.

 

The film Deva, directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, promises an action-packed journey filled with excitement and drama. It's set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.

 

Triptii, known for her roles in films like Poster Boys, Laila Majnu, Bulbbul, and Qala, gained widespread recognition for playing Zoya in the action film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Her most recent appearance was in Bad Newz, where she starred with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.

 

Triptii's upcoming projects include Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan, and Dhadak 2 alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi.
