Starbucks Khar outlet in the Red Chillies Office has been a hub for office-goers in the Bandra Khar area. However, the outlet is said not to be opened for that purpose. Sushant Dash, CEO of Tata Starbucks, in an interview, revealed the story behind opening the store there and the rumours about it’s related to Shah Rukh Khan.
Many sources and co-stars over time have confirmed Shah Rukh Khan’s love for coffee, which explains how he can work so much. His craze for coffee resulted in him reaching out to the CEO of Starbucks to get a store in his production company's office.

In an Interview, Dash said, “He is a big fan, and that’s what I have heard. He wanted a store at the building, where he had that space. It’s a beautiful store, and that’s his place, he is the landlord. Someone from his office had approached, saying that he is very keen, and asked if you guys be interested. It worked out, and it is a lovely space.”
Many co-stars have said that Khan drinking coffee doesn't concern them, but his habit of eating less. Alia Bhatt, his co-star from Dear Zindagi, in an interview, shared her experience with Shah Rukh Khan. “There is nothing that I hate about him. But there is something that I felt bad about. He doesn’t eat at all. Let me tell you about an incident. On sets, it was always very quiet. No one was allowed to speak. We used to have heavy scenes and long takes and lots of dialogue, and we used to run through the whole scene. Suddenly, in between, I could hear a growl, and I could sense that it was coming from his (SRK) stomach. Then we used to give him biscuits. He drinks a lot of coffee. I also drink coffee, but I also have my food. So I used to feel bad about that, and I used to tell him that he should eat,” she had said.
Shah Rukh Khan is about to start working on two films, one of which is King with director Sujoy Ghosh, in which he is set to co-star with daughter Suhana Khan.
