John Abraham has been showering praise on his Pathaan co-star Shah Rukh Khan recently. On the TV chat show Aapka Apna Zakir, John shared that Shah Rukh even gifted him a motorcycle after the tremendous success of their film last year. “My last film Pathaan was with him. I remember after the film’s release, there was a success party, and Shah Rukh said, ‘Come on, John, let’s party!

Our movie is doing great. It had a strong opening. I told him no, I need to sleep. ‘What, you need to sleep?’ ‘Yes, I need to sleep.’ So he asked me, ‘What do you want?’ I said, just give me a motorcycle. So he gifted me one. I went home happy,” John recalled. 

Earlier, on The Ranveer Show, John spoke about working with Shah Rukh, saying, “When my career started, Shah Rukh was my judge in a modeling competition, and now during Pathaan, I was working with him. There was a lot of respect and love. He is an incredibly smart, intelligent man, but also very caring and endearing. We really got along well!"

John portrayed Jim, the lead antagonist in Pathaan, a blockbuster spy thriller directed by Siddharth Anand last year. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film was part of the YRF Spy Universe and also featured Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana, with Salman Khan making a guest appearance.

It grossed over ₹1,000 crore at the worldwide box office. John was most recently seen in Nikkhil Advani's action film Vedaa, which hit theaters last week. His next project is Tehran, while Shah Rukh will be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's crime drama King.
