Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was slated to appear in Son of Sardaar 2, has been dropped from the project following the rejection of his UK visa. In an interview with Bombay Times, Sanjay criticized the decision, labeling it as "wrong." He questioned why his visa was initially granted and then later rejected.

He added, "Anyway, who is going to the UK? There are so many riots happening there. Even the Indian government has advised against traveling to the UK. So, I'm not missing out on anything. But yes, this decision was incorrect. It needs to be corrected. I am a law-abiding citizen, I adhere to the law, and I respect the laws of every country."

A source recently informed Mid-Day that, since his arrest in 1993, Sanjay Dutt has traveled to the US but has never been granted a UK visa despite multiple applications. His role in Son of Sardaar 2 would have marked his first visit to the UK. After learning of the visa rejection, Ajay’s team replaced him with Ravi Kishan.
