Harshvardhan Rane Reveals Why He Doesn't Talk To His Co-star
Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release has shattered major records at the box office. The film, based on themes of love and heartbreak, was a box office failure during its original release in 2016. The movie became a favorite among viewers on OTT services until audiences insisted for a theatrical re-release.
To date the new releases of its re-issue have accumulated profits exceeding double its original box office totals. The audience embraced both Sanam Teri Kasam's brilliant movie and the strong connection between lead actors Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane. Harshvardhan Rane has stopped connecting with Mawara Hocane. Harshvardhan Rane recently gave the reason why he had lost contact with the actress in his latest interview.
Since Sanam Teri Kasam saw its re-release Harshvardhan Rane has been making frequent appearances in the news. Harshvardhan Rane gave an interview to Filmfare magazine where he addressed his connection with Mawra Hocane. The actor mentioned his film ended with failure in 2016 which prompted him to drop contact with the actress. According to Harshvardhan he bears the accountability for losing touch with Mawra Hocane.
He said, "I would like to take the blame for behaving like a silent cricket player who does not talk to anyone after a match. The kind of cricketer who goes silent after losing a match. I take the blame of being that batsman who makes his runs, but if the team loses, he does not stay in touch. That's my fault."
Harshvardhan Rane expressed that he wants Mawra Hocane to check the re-release collection numbers for their motion picture since she originates from Pakistan. The actor expressed satisfaction with Mawra's current happiness following her marriage with Pakistani actor Ameer Gilani even though he hopes official recognition from the box office success of their film would give her additional satisfaction. Rane emphasized how many film associates have lost connection with him beyond Mawra Hocane.
Harshvardhan said: "I lost touch with the producer, the directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the costume person, Ankita Dhar, lyrics writer - everyone."
Mawra Hocane gained media attention during her Pakistani wedding while she appeared as the leading female role in the film. During her wedding festivities the newly-married bride felt deep emotion as her movie received audience love after spending nine years since its initial release. She posted an internal theatre footage on Instagram that captured audiences watching the new screening of the film.
Sharing her surprise, Mawra said: "This is absolutely insane, guyzzzz! I hear we're making some records, and the house is full everywhere!!!! Thank you, Thank You, Thank you. Love you all so much."
During an interview, Harshvardhan Rane revealed his experience of arriving too late for auditions to play the role which had already been cast to another actor. Due to this situation they requested him to depart. Harshvardhan begged the makers to observe his audition even though they initially instructed him to leave. After casting Harshvardhan Rane in the role the makers witnessed audience members weeping which led them to accept his late arrival even though changes to the costuming production and other expenses resulted in budgetary losses. Mawra Hocane joined one of the 215 participants who pursued the role of 'Saraswati 'Saru.' But since she was the only one who looked visually appealing while crying, she was locked for the role.
