Salman Khan Threat: Facebook Post Originating From European Country Linked To Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

In a concerning development, the Mumbai Police has traced the threatening Facebook post directed at Bollywood actor Salman Khan to a European country, raising suspicions of a potential link to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The post, initially addressed to Punjabi actor and singer Gippy Grewal, warned of impending danger to Salman Khan and originated from an account operating abroad.

Authorities initiated communication with Facebook to gather information about the account responsible for the threat. A police official confirmed, "We had written to Facebook, which confirmed to us that the post and the account were operated in a European Country. We will seek more information." The investigation is now focused on determining the authenticity of the threat and establishing if it is a legitimate danger or a prank.

In addition to the Facebook threat, the police are exploring possible connections to a recent firing incident in Vancouver, where shots were fired outside Punjabi actor Gippy Grewal's house. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack, sparking concerns of a larger conspiracy involving Salman Khan.

The threatening message, purportedly from Lawrence Bishnoi, warned Gippy Grewal about seeking help from Salman Khan, cautioning the actor that neither Dawood nor anyone else could protect him. The post hinted at a potential backlash against Salman Khan, referencing his public response to the death of Sidhu Moose Wala. The ominous message concluded with a chilling warning, stating, "Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon."

Gippy Grewal, who had distanced himself from Salman Khan after the Vancouver incident, reported shots fired outside his residence. Salman Khan, since November 2022, has had his security cover upgraded to Y-Plus, obtained a license for a personal weapon, and acquired a new bulletproof vehicle.

This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced threats. In April 2023, Mumbai Police heightened security around his home after his personal assistant received a threatening email. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, along with his associate Goldy Brar, faced charges for allegedly issuing a threat to the actor.

As the Mumbai Police intensifies efforts to determine the credibility of the recent threat and its potential connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salman Khan remains under heightened security, with authorities closely monitoring the situation.
