Bollywood actor Salman Khan has reportedly received another death threat. An unknown caller sent a message demanding ₹2 crore from him. The Worli police have filed a case against the unidentified individual for sending multiple WhatsApp messages to Mumbai Police's Traffic Helpline, making the demand for money.
The unknown sender has threatened Salman Khan with serious consequences if the money is not paid. The Traffic Police reported the situation to the Worli Police, who have registered a case and begun tracking the sender.
This incident follows the arrest of a 20-year-old man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, two days earlier. He was allegedly involved in issuing death threats to Salman Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique. The man was taken into custody on Monday.
An official said that , " The accused initially sent a threatening message on MLA Zeeshan Siddique's helpline number and later made a voice call on it, in which he issued a death threat to Siddique and actor Salman Khan.This took place on Friday."
A case was registered on Monday, and with the help of technical evidence, the accused was arrested in Noida. He has been brought to Mumbai for further investigation.
Last week, the Mumbai Police arrested a man from Jamshedpur who threatened Salman Khan in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded a ransom of ₹5 crore.
The Mumbai Police registered a case against an unknown person and launched an investigation after the Mumbai Traffic Police received a threatening message.
