Riddhima Praises Alia Bhatt’s Support During Grandmother’s Passing

The Kapoor family faced a tough time in 2018 when Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer and had to urgently go to New York with his wife Neetu and son Ranbir. Just a day after they left, Rishi's mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, passed away in Mumbai. Recently, Rishi's daughter Riddhima shared how Alia Bhatt, who was dating Ranbir then, supported their family and was a strong presence during that difficult time.

In an interview, Riddhima shared how Alia Bhatt helped her with the arrangements when her grandmother passed away. Addressing this she said, " I still remember my dadi passed away… My dad left for treatment and the very next morning, my dadi passed away and Alia did everything. She came with me, she organised the food because at that time you can’t cook at home, so she did that. She was there. Ranbir, mom and papa had left for New York, so it was just me. She was with me throughout."

Riddhima praised Alia Bhatt, calling her an "amazing" person who is now just as wonderful with her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor. She said, " She is a great girl. Alia is amazing. Like how she is with my mom also now, she is just amazing, her whole family, her mom, sister, dad they are all really nice , Alia is actually a very warm person and a very giving person and I say this all the time, she is a really nice human being. She does everything whole heartedly, if she wants to do something for you, she will go all out and just make sure it’s done."

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April 2022 and are now proud parents to their daughter, Raha. Recently, Riddhima appeared on Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
