Television star Ram Kapoor, famous for shows like Kasamh Se and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, surprised fans with his incredible weight loss transformation. In December 2024, he posted a striking photo on Instagram, sharing his journey and explaining why he had been away from social media.

Ram Kapoor lost an incredible 55 kilos, going from 140 kg to 85 kg in just a year. In a podcast with Devna Gandhi, he shared the challenges he faced, the lessons he learned, and the strategies he used during his amazing transformation.

Ram revealed that his transformation journey started five years ago and was full of ups and downs. He said,  “I lost 30 kilos, gained it back, and repeated the cycle. It taught me what not to do," he said. Determined to succeed, he immersed himself in fitness literature, expert podcasts, and research. “I realized there are two types of people—those who prioritize health and fitness, and those who don’t. I decided to fully commit to becoming the best version of myself," 

Ram followed a simple and effective diet, eating only two meals a day. His first meal was at 10:30–11:00 AM and the second at 6:30 PM, with no snacks in between. He practiced intermittent fasting, eating within an 8-hour window and fasting for the other 16 hours.

The actor highlighted the importance of staying consistent with exercise. He spent 45 minutes daily on cardio and another 45 minutes on strength training. He also stressed that strength training and good sleep habits were key to achieving lasting weight loss.

When asked if he used Ozempic, a diabetes drug often used for weight loss, Ram denied the rumors.

He mentioned, " I never took Ozempic or underwent bariatric surgery. But does that really matter? People choose different paths to improve themselves, and there’s nothing wrong with that."
