On Tuesday evening, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who has been considering a biopic on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, expressed his fascination by stating that he doesn't know any film star who is more "good-looking" than the gangster.
Ram Gopal Varma posted a photo of Lawrence Bishnoi wearing an orange t-shirt and a black-and-orange hoodie on his X account. In the caption, he wrote, " If a film is based on the BIGGEST GANGSTER , no film maker will cast a guy who looks like DAWOOD IBRAHIM or CHOTA RAJAN ..But here , I don’t know a single FILM STAR who is more GOOD LOOKING than B.
X users flooded the comment section of Ram Gopal Varma's post with interesting reactions. One user joked, “Casting Salman Khan as Lawrence would be the biggest irony (smile emoji).” Another said, “RGV’s new crush! (laughing emoji).” A third user commented, “That’s a good point! It’s like Hollywood casting supermodels as gritty detectives—there’s rarely a realistic match. If Bishnoi’s life hits the big screen, they’ll probably pick someone more glamorous, making it a true ‘Bollywood’ version.” A fourth user added, “Let him play himself. I hope you direct his biography.”
In another post on X, Ram Gopal Varma wrote, " I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise , it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR ..S K owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPER HERO in comparison to B."
Lawrence's conflict with Salman goes back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan, in which Salman was involved. He has publicly threatened Salman and his supporters, and is allegedly connected to the murder of Baba Siddique, a close associate of the actor and an NCP leader.
