In an exclusive interview with Popdiaries, Naila Grrewal opened up about her thoughts on nepotism, struggles during college times and much more.

She also had been a  part of classic hits like Tamasha, Thappad and Barilley Ki Barfi. Talking about her cameos, Naila said that, " If someone comes to me and says, this is a part, I'm not just stuck by, is it a lead? Is it a heroine? Because even now,  I'm only being offered meaty parts now, which is what I always wanted to do."

Talking about facing rejections, Naila revealed that, " I had tested for a part and I had met the director and he had kind of narrated the story to me. So I came to Mumbai. I had my meeting with the director. I went back to Delhi and about a week, two weeks passed. I didn't hear back. I got a call from the director and I went to the site to talk to him.And he said that, you know, I'm sorry, but the makers want to go with somebody else. And I'll have to, you know, this can't happen this time around. And I got so affected."

When asked about the thoughts on box office and cinema culture, Naila said that, " If a new person gets a chance and you're like, yeh kaun hai? If a person coming from a film family is getting a chance, which is very normal, then they're saying nepotism. No one is focusing on the fact that watch their performance and judge. You may like or dislike a person's performance, which is totally your prerogative.  We're here to be actors. We're here to be on an OTT platform or on your 70mm silver screens. So see the performance and then make your judgments."
