The Bollywood movie is based on the belief that these spirits dwell in peepal trees or near wells, making people afraid to go near these places at night.
"Munjya" is scheduled to stream on Disney+ Hotstar around August-September 2024. The OTT release will give Bollywood fans a chance to be both scared and amused.
