"Mira Rajput Opens Up About Near Miscarriage During First Pregnancy; Shahid Kapoor Concerned"

During Mira Rajput's pregnancy with her daughter, Misha Kapoor, she faced a serious health scare. At four months pregnant, doctors were concerned when they noticed significant dilation during a sonogram. To prevent a miscarriage, she was advised complete bed rest and spent two and a half months hospitalized.

When Mira was 21 and pregnant with her first child, she shared on Prakhar Gupta's podcast that she faced a difficult experience. Despite being young, healthy, and feeling in her prime for motherhood, she nearly miscarried at four months pregnant. After a sonography showed concerning signs, her doctor advised immediate bed rest to prevent complications.

Mira remembered the day she went for her sonogram vividly. The atmosphere was tense, unlike the usual cheerful post-sonogram chats. The doctor and Shahid looked worried as they delivered the news. She had already begun to dilate at four months pregnant, prompting the doctor to emphasize the seriousness of the situation: she needed to lie down immediately to avoid the risk of losing the baby.

Following her hospitalization for two and a half months, Mira suggested that the experience took a toll on her mental well-being, which Shahid noticed. She requested the doctor to discharge her under the condition that she could continue her recovery at home, with a hospital-like setup. Shahid then took her back home from the hospital.

After being in the hospital for two and a half months, Mira felt it had affected her mental health, something Shahid noticed. She asked the doctor if she could leave the hospital as long as she could continue her recovery at home in a setup similar to a hospital. Shahid then brought her back home from the hospital.

After experiencing a sudden return to the hospital, Mira found the situation overwhelming once more. This time, Shahid insisted on caring for her at home to prioritize her mental and emotional well-being. Upon her return home, Shahid ensured every precaution was in place. Mira later gave birth to Misha on August 26, 2017. She fondly recalled the doctor referring to their daughter as a "miracle baby."
