Celebs To Join Raj Kapoor’s 100th Birth Anniversary Celebration

Raj Kapoor is ultimatively one of the greatest actors and filmmaker of Indian film industry. The Kapoor family and most of the industry’s popular stars will be coming together to commemorate the great icon’s 100th birth anniversary. This event will be attended by Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Vicky Kaushal, and more joining Kapoor family including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and the rest of Kapoor members.

The venue will be PVR, Infinity Mall, Andheri West which will be decorated perfectly to give tribute to Raj Kapoor. To pay tribute to the legend, Kapoor’s extended family – including Randhir Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, and more – is poised to sign up for the dance portrait.

 Several stars from Bollywood including Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Rekha, Vicky Kaushal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Hirani, Karan Johar, Jeetendra, Kartik Aaryan, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and many others, will be in the audience to offer their tributes.

A number of international film personalities and other guests from other countries and Film festivals are also to attend this occasion.

In this mega celebration, ten classic Raj Kapoor movies including Awaara, Shree 420, Sangam, Mera Naam Joker etc will be screened in PVR-Inox and Cinepolis theatres in 135 theatres all over the country by booking special shows. The Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival screenings have been made easily affordable.

This is why the Kapoor family has also planned to include that have Raj Kapoor raw unseen videos from his films making it also the part of the nostalgia. 

The dinner will also be rounded off with a toast to the Greatest Showman of Indian cinema and bang goes the fireworks with the lingering melody of Raj Kapoor ‘The Show Must Go On’.
