Kartik Aryan Opens Up On His “Fallout” With Karan Johar: Know More

Karan Johar had announced the anticipated sequel to his movie Dostana, with a fresh cast including Kartik Aryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani. But in April of 2021, Dharma productions took to social media to release a statement about the change in casting of Dostana 2, indicating at certain rift between actor Kartik Aryan and director and producer Karan Johar.

Recently in an interview, Kartik Aryan opened up on this controversy. He said, “Dekhiye, woh bahut purani baat ho gayi. Kai baar bahut miscommunication hota hai aur kai bar bahot cheezein out of proportion bhi chali jati hai aur specifically jab woh likha jata hai to woh sound kuch aur karta hai.”

He further added that he just gives his 100 % and wants to focus on his work, “Main tab bhi silent tha and ab bhi silent hoon un baaton pe. Main baas 100 pratishat kaam karta hoon, lekin jab bhi aisi koi khabar aati hai ya koi controversy aa jati hai to main apne shell mein rehta huin, main shant rehta hoon. Main un cheezon mein zyada ghusta hoon, aur na kuch prove karne se mujhe kuch milta hai.”

Kartik Aryan is currently focusing on the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Chandu Champion’, directed by Kabir Khan.
