Kangana Ranaut Buys New Office Space in Andheri
Kangana Ranaut has reportedly acquired a new office space in Mumbai's Andheri area, just weeks after rumors surfaced that she is selling her expansive bungalow in Bandra. The actress is said to have purchased the property for Rs 1.56 crore, though she has yet to comment on the report.
According to Hindustan Times, property registration documents accessed by Propstack reveal that Kangana bought the office on the 19th floor of a building named Arch One. The office space was sold at a rate of Rs 38,391 per square foot on carpet. The transaction took place on August 23, with Kangana paying a stamp duty of Rs 9.37 lakhs and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
This new purchase comes on the heels of speculation that Kangana has put her Bandra bungalow up for sale at Rs 40 crore. The rumors began earlier this month after a YouTube channel called Code Estate shared a video claiming that a production house office was on the market. While the name of the production house and owner were not disclosed, the images and footage used in the video led many to believe it was Kangana’s office. Social media users quickly speculated in the comments that the property in question was indeed hers. The bungalow reportedly spans 285 square meters with a construction area of 3,042 square feet, and includes an additional 500 square feet of parking space. The two-story building is priced at Rs 40 crore. Kangana has yet to address these rumors as well.
In the meantime, Kangana is dealing with death threats related to her upcoming movie, Emergency. In the film, Kangana portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. With the release date approaching, a man posted a video on social media threatening her if she proceeds with the film's release. In response, Kangana, who is also directing the movie, has sought police protection.
