What really caught the Internet's attention was Vasan Bala’s apology to Shraddha Kapoor’s fans. After Shraddha posted a praise-filled message about the teaser for Jigra, Vasan Bala shared her post on his Instagram stories, expressing his gratitude and adding, "Thank you so much Shraddha. Hope you and Siddhanth enjoy the film too." He also took the chance to address a previous issue, saying, "Sorry to your fans. Bhool Chuk Maaf ". This apology was in response to a recent incident where, after the release of Stree 2, Vasan Bala had praised the film’s entire cast but inadvertently left out Shraddha Kapoor's name. This oversight upset her fans, leading to the director’s heartfelt apology.

Jigra is Alia Bhatt’s second production venture, following her 2022 Netflix thriller-comedy Darlings. For this new project, she is co-producing with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is set to hit theaters on October 11.

Stree 2 is experiencing a fantastic run at the box office. The movie features Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana reprising their roles. The film also includes guest appearances by Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar.
