Shahid and Kareena might reunite onscreen for Jab We Met 2.

Imitaz Ali's Jab We Met, is one of the most loved and popular romantic comedy movie of Indian cinema that had won people's heart when it was released back in 2007. Which became a cult movie. Jab We Met is again making headline as report of its sequel is syrfacing on the Internet. The original star cast of Jab We Met, Karrena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor aced their roles as Geet and Aditya, they became the household name. The speculation of sequel has created a buzz on social media with the anticiaption about the possibility of Kareena and Shahid reuniting on screen to reprise their iconic  role as Geet and Aditya.

Jab We Met 2:

In a recent interview with Times Now, producer Raj Mehta the owner of Ashtavinayak, got into candid chat and revelead he is planning to make a sequel of cult favorite 'Jab We Met'. He further added, "he would produce the movie under the banner of Gandhar films". It also rumoured that Imtiaz Ali will director the film just like the original.There has been no offical announcement  made regarding Jab We Met 2. Neither the script, nor the shooting date has been fixed. The star cast for the sequel has yet not been finalised. 

Earlier this year, Jab We Met was re-released in the theatres and it once again received the same amount of love and appreciation from the audience and it had created buzz on social media.During that time, in an interview Shahid Kapoor had shared about the chances of the sequel of movie and He said, "It really depends on the quality of that script. So, if there is a script that demands a sequel and I feel it is the kind of script that you read and say ‘man this will be better than the original this can match up to the original’ I would do it but if I feel it’s not and I’m just trying to use the brand value of the original thing to do then I feel that that ‘why are you doing it, don’t do it".
