The 70th National Film Awards were revealed on Monday, celebrating the finest films from 2022, including the outstanding contributions of actors and crews across the country. Highlights include Rishab Shetty and Nithya Menen winning Best Actor awards, with the Malayalam film Aattam clinching the Best Film title.

Other notable winners are Brahmastra Part 1 and Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, which excelled in several key categories. The awards presentation will occur at a later date, with winners receiving their accolades from the President of India. 

This year's jury includes Rahul Rawail as Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury, Nila Madhab Panda as Chairperson of the Non-Feature Film Jury, and Gangadhar Mudalair as Chairperson of the Best Writing on Cinema Jury.

- Best Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment: Kantara (Kannada)
- Best Feature Film Promoting National, Social, and Environmental Values: Kutch Express (Gujarati)
- Best Film in AVGC: Brahmastra Part 1 (Hindi)
- Best Director: Sooraj Barjatya for Uunchai (Hindi)
- Best Actor in Leading Role: Nithya Menen for Thiruchitrambalam (Tamil), Manasi Parekh for Kutch Express (Gujarati), Rishab Shetty for Kantara (Kannada)
- Actor in Supporting Role: Neena Gupta for Uunchai (Hindi), Pavan Raj Malhotra for Fouja (Gujarati)
- Best Child Artiste: Sreepath for Malikappuram (Malayalam)
