In 2014 Huma played a character of a companion of Madhuri Dixit in Dedh Ishqiya. She was still able to grab eyeballs with her performance even alongside pretty lady Madhuri Dixit.
Along side Sonakshi Sinha in this one Huma showed the struggles of overweight girls in today’s ‘modern world’.
