Hum Aapke Hai Kaun Celebrates 30 Years, Film Re-Releases in Theatres

‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ is one of the most iconic and highest grossing Bollywood films of all time. This family favourite film has 14 songs, taking over 1 hour, 11 minutes of the movie. The film completed 30 years of its release on August 8, and to celebrate this special occasion, Rajshri Productions is re-releasing the film in theatres on August 9.

Like Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, another film re-releasing on the same day is Laila Majnu, starring Avinash Tiwari and Triptii Dimri. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali did not do well on the box office when it first released, but over the years have become a fan favourite. So, on popular demand by the fans, the makers are re-releasing the film.

August is a good month for cinephiles since many films are releasing in August. Popular Hollywood films releasing are Borderlands and It Ends With Us, while many Bollywood films like Veda, Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein also see a theatrical release.
