New Delhi (India), July 28: 29th July is a very special day for me, special because it is my brother Sanjay Dutt’s birthday. Sanju is a man of sheer grit and strength and it is remarkable how this fighter defeated this dreaded disease, his journey is an inspiration to many. Sanju’s fight wouldn’t have turned out the way it has without his sisters Namrata & Priya and wife Manyata and the entire family’s support. Priya Dutt works towards reaching out to needy cancer patients through Nargis Dutt Foundation and has made fabulous progress. Paresh Geelani, my brother, stood as a rock for Sanju at every stage of his life and in this situation of life and death, he left no stone unturned in finding the best possible treatment for Sanju.
On this day I would like to pay a little tribute to people who are very close to my heart due to their selfless work towards the betterment of humans battling deadly diseases like Cancer. Dr. Sewanti Limaye MBBS, MD (USA), MS (USA)

Dr. Navneet Shah

Diabetologist, Endocrinologist & Physician
Ahmedabad,
whom I have seen working tirelessly without any lure, for the people, guiding them through especially during covid time day and night.
Dr. Shailesh Talati
MD Medical Oncologist is not only a great doctor but a brilliant human being whose empathy and knowledge is par excellence.
Last but not least my childhood buddy and owner of Shubham Cancer Hospital Dr Pinakin Shah, never shy’s away from offering any sort of medical help to needy patients.
On Sanju’s bday, I would like to thank each one of them and would also like to offer as a small token of appreciation and help, to those patients who are needy and cannot afford treatment for Cancer, a little help in bearing entire expenses for their operation performed on 29th July (Sanju’s birthday) of each year at Shubham Cancer Hospital Ahmedabad as a celebration of dedication, genuineness and above all humanity.
