From Gangubai Kathiawadi To Sultan, Here Are The List Of Five Block Buster Movies Rejected By Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone needs no introduction when it comes to her stardom. She is a global icon and has given some of the biggest commercial hits in the Bollywood industry. In her acting career, she has shown her versatility and has given critically acclaimed performances. She is one of the topmost Bollywood actress at presnet and she is also one of the highest paid Bollywood actress. However, there are some of block buster Bollywood movies that she has rejected. 

GanguBai Kathiawadi:

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biggest hit Gangubai Kathiawadi become massive hit of the year 2022. The movie was critically accalimed and Alia Bhatt even received National award as the best actress for the movie. It is reported that Sanjay had offered Deepika Padukone a role alongside Alia Bhartt in the movie. However, she rejected the offer because she didn't wanted to share the screen space with Alia Bhatt. The movie turned out be the biggest hit of Alia Bhatt's career and she received immense appreciation. 

Jab Tak Hai Jaan:

Yash Raj's 2012's movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma become one of the biggest hit of the year. It is reported that, Deepika was offered Katrina's role first. But she rejected the offer without specifying any reasons for it. Later, the role got landed to Katrina and her's and SRK's chemistry was loved by audience. 

Fast and Furous 7:

In 2015, Deepika Padukone had got the opportunity to work alongside Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel. She was one of the first Bollywood actress who was offered action-adventure movie Fast and Furious 7. However, Deepika had to reject this big opportunity due to her busy schedule and date conflicts as she was occupied in shooting for Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela. Later on in year 2017, she did a movie XXX: Return of Xande Cage with Vin Diesel. 

Sultan:

Salman Khan starer Sultan was first offered to Deepika Padkone. From many years Deepika had expressed her desire to work with Salman Khan. But she had to turned down the offer due to her prior work commitments. Later, the movie was offered to Anuskha Sharma and the film did exceptionally well in the box-office and became 2016's biggest hit movie. 

 

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: 

Sooraj Barjatya directed multie starer 2015 movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was a big hit at box-office. Deepika was first offered the role opposite Salman Khan. But, she rejected the offer without any reason and then her role was offered to Sonam Kapoor.
