Four famous Bollywood Personalities receive death threats from Pakistan

Four prominent Bollywood celebrities including Actor and Comedian Kapil Sharma, Actor Rajpal Yadav, Choreographer Remo D'Souza and Actor-Singer Sugandha Mishra. FIR has been lodged in Mumbai, and the police are actively investigating this matter.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The email carrying the death threat states, “We are monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”

 The sender has signed the email under the name ‘BISHNU'.

On 14 January 2025, Rajpal Yadav received an email from a stranger calling himself Bishnu, threatening to kill Kapil Sharma and his team since his show is being sponsored by Salman Khan. The email originated from [email protected] and was addressed to Rajpal Yadav’s team email, [email protected]. It demanded a quick response within eight hours, warning of professional consequences in the future if ignored. After this incident, Radha Rajpal Yadav immediately took action and filed a police complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai. 

 

Police have traced the email’s IP address to Pakistan and asking the government for help to communicate with Pakistan. Case has been registered under Section 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, which deals with threats of harm. The police also took immediate steps to enhance the security of the celebrities involved.
