In the video, people shared that they had booked their tickets in advance. However, when they arrived at the theatre on Wednesday (December 25), the theater management told them that the 10:45 am show was canceled and Baby John was being screened instead.

Since the theater management and BookMyShow didn’t inform them about the show being canceled, people demanded an explanation and created chaos outside the cinema.

They said no message or notification was sent about the movie change, and the ticket money was not refunded. They asked how a different movie was being shown without any prior information.

According to media reports, the cinema staff explained that the change was made by the producers, and they had no control over it. Some people chose to watch Baby John, while others left the theater. Some blamed the management for poor handling and protested.

Baby John, which hit theaters on Wednesday, features superstar Salman Khan in a special appearance, with Varun in the lead and Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in key roles. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee of Jawan fame, the film is an adaptation of Atlee's Tamil movie Theri, starring Thalapathy Vijay. The movie has received mixed reviews. Meanwhile, Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar and starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, has broken multiple box office records and become one of Indian cinema's highest-grossing films.
