The incident occurred on February 26, when Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were in Lucknow to promote their film. The situation spiraled out of control as the crowd became unruly, pushing and shoving each other. Matters escalated as stones and slippers were thrown, leading the police to resort to a lathi charge to restore order. The incident unfolded near the Clock Tower in Lucknow, where Akshay and Tiger were performing stunts for their enthusiastic fans.
Earlier in the day, Akshay and Tiger had made a grand entrance at the promotions, performing a live stunt to the film's title track. This spectacle was well-received by the audience, adding to the excitement surrounding the film's release.
'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, along with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in pivotal roles. The film, presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with AAZ Films, is directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' is set to release on Eid 2024.
