According to reports, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Sunday at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. An official statement from the couple is still awaited.
On Sunday, the couple and their family were spotted arriving at the hospital. Shortly after, their family members were also seen arriving.
Just days before their baby arrived, the new parents were seen seeking blessings at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday. Deepika wore a traditional green saree with a matching blouse, and her baby bump was visible as she walked barefoot into the temple.
As per reports, Deepika and Ranveer might soon start a new chapter of their lives by moving into a luxurious apartment in Bandra. Their new home, located next to Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat, will span floors 16 to 19 of the building and will feature a private terrace. Once construction is complete, the couple is expected to settle into this swanky new residence.
Deepika is reportedly planning to return to work in 2025 after spending the next few months with her newborn. As per reports, "Her maternity leave will continue until March next year. After that, she’ll begin filming the sequel to Kalki alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas." Following this, she will appear in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again, which also stars Ranveer Singh.
Meanwhile, Ranveer will be starring in Aditya Dhar's upcoming action film and Farhan Akhtar's highly anticipated crime drama, Don 3.
