According to reports, Netflix has abruptly removed every sequence starring Urvashi Rautela from the movie Daaku Maharaaj.

The well-known streaming service deleted her scenes just before the film's streaming debut, according to a source familiar with the situation.  Fans and well-wishers of the actress have taken to social media to voice their displeasure at the abrupt decision.  Netflix recently announced that their Telugu-language action-drama Daaku Maharaaj, which stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, will be accessible for streaming on February 21.

On the other hand, there were internet comments about the streaming release's announcement banner.  Even though Urvashi plays a big part in the film and actively promotes it, she is conspicuously absent from the poster, which prominently shows stars Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath.  Social media was instantly ablaze with reactions to this absence, with people asking amusingly and expressing astonishment as to why the main actress was not included in the official poster.

Later, in an apparent attempt to correct the earlier error, the streaming behemoth uploaded individual character slides with Urvashi Rautela's picture on them twice.

Starring in important parts are Rishi, Chandini Chowdary, Pradeep Rawat, Sachin Khedekar, Shine Tom Chacko, Viswant Duddumpudi, Aadukalam Naren, and Ravi Kishan in Bobby Kolli's Daaku Maharaaj.

The movie's worldwide premiere took place on January 12, 2025, which was also Sankranti. Fascinatingly, the actress from Sanam Re was instrumental in promoting Daaku Maharaaj, always pointing out the movie's remarkable Rs 105 crore revenues. Her participation in the film's marketing, however, took a contentious turn after she gained notoriety for her remarks regarding Saif Ali Khan's stabbing. In her remarks, she referred to her expensive gifts, which sparked a lot of public outrage and criticism.

Despite condemning the attack, Urvashi also displayed her diamond-encrusted watch, which many felt was tone-deaf considering the gravity of the situation.
