In a stunning display of artistry and devotion, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt graced the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya wearing a custom turquoise blue Mysore silk saree, revealing intricate scenes from the epic Ramayana painted on its pallu. The exceptional creation, taking a remarkable 100 hours to meticulously craft, turned heads and became the talk of the town during this historic event on January 22.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the Pran Pratishtha rituals at Ram Lalla's Janmabhoomi, celebrities from across India, including Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, and Vicky Kaushal, gathered to witness this monumental occasion.

Alia's saree, designed by Madhurya Creations, featured detailed hand-painted motifs depicting pivotal scenes from the Ramayana. Stylist Ami Patel shared a closer look at the saree's intricacies, showcasing scenes such as the breaking of the Shiva Dhanush, King Dasharatha's promise, the boat journey with Guha, the golden deer, the kidnapping, the construction of the Ram Setu, Lord Hanuman presenting the ring to Ma Sita, and the grand Rama Pattabishek.
The actress took to social media to share insights into the creation of the saree, expressing the immense effort invested in the exquisite pattachitra artistry. Alia's post read, "100 hours of effort to make this pattachitra saree depicting the beautiful epic of Ramayana."
