Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava which was set to release on December 6, may get postponed due to the release of Pushpa 2. However, if the new date goes ahead, it would lead to a clash with Ram Charan's Game Changer.
Though nothing is confirmed yet, industry insiders believe that the makers of Chhaava have decided to delay the movie's release. Sumit Kel shared this update on his X (formerly Twitter) account, and several regional media outlets have also reported the same.
However, there hasn’t been an official announcement of a delay from the makers of Chhaava. Reports suggest the release date might be moved to avoid a clash with Pushpa 2. Some industry insiders shared on social media that many single-screen cinemas have already allocated most of their screens to Pushpa 2, which could be why Chhaava is being postponed.
Industry sources suggest that the makers of the Vicky Kaushal-starrer are considering two new release dates. According to Sacnilk, they may either release the film on Christmas, December 25, or during the Makar Sankranti holiday on January 10.
If Chhaava is released on Christmas, it will face competition from Varun Dhawan's Baby John (also releasing on December 25) and Mufasa: The Lion King (coming out on December 20). Additionally, if it releases on January 10, it will compete with Ram Charan's Game Changer, set for the same date. Chhaava also features Kiara Advani.
