The historical drama film starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna becomes the top Bollywood performer of 2025. Since its initial release, Chhaava has dominated the box office while earning more than Rs 200 crores in its domestic market within seven days. The collections of Chhaava increased by Rs 32 crore on Wednesday. The film received an expected box office boost on Shivaji Jayanti which brought its total earnings very close to Rs 200 crore. The six-day domestic grossing of the film reached Rs 197.75 crore.

The worldwide gross collection of Chhaava reaches Rs 198.85 crore in India and Rs 30 crore abroad. Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna-starring movie reached worldwide revenues of Rs 200 crores. The worldwide gross of Chhaava reached Rs 228.85 crore. Chhaava has become Vicky Kaushal's largest box office success after Uri: The Surgical Strike.

 On Wednesday, the overall occupancy for Chhaava was 41.41 percent with a total of 6677 shows all over India. The 774 shows exhibited an 84.5 percent occupancy level in Pune on Wednesday making it the city with the highest occupancy rate. Out of all townships, Mumbai recorded a high occupancy rate of 75.25 percent during its 1515 scheduled shows. Hyderabad television markets reached 42.50 percent occupancy for 347 shows whereas Chennai reached 24.5 percent occupancy for 76 shows. The shows performed by Chhaava reached an occupancy level of 19 percent within the Delhi-NCR region, totaling 1330 shows.

The film Chhaava directed Laxman Utekar with its production roots with Dinesh Vijan's company Maddock Films.  The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in important roles. Chhaava had a theatrical release on February 14.
