Sunny Deol's and Ameesha Patel's much anticpated movie Gadar 2 is all set release in cinema on 12 July. The movie has got U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certificate (CBFC). But before getting its certificate the censor board made ten alterations and cut from the movie. Earlier OMG 2 is also went through major censor cuts from the movie.
CBFC makes 10 cuts from the movie
It is reported that 10 major cut were made by CBFC before granting U/A certficate the movie. CBFC has removed the riot scene were people were chanting "Har Har Mahadec" They have also removed the word "Bastard" to "idiot" and have replaced "Shiv Tandav" shlokas with the song line "Akhand hai who sang hai". In a particualr scene they have addressed the Defence Minster incorrectly so they changed the word to "Raksha Mantri".
Nowdays audience have become very particular about about dialogues recently, Adipurush had faced problem due it inappropriate dialogue and it had heart people's sentiments and emotions. So, CBFC have become very careful with scene and dialogues the line from the thumri song "Bata De Sakhi" was replaced with "Bata De Piya Kahaan Bitaayi Shaam" and lines like "Dono ek hi toh hai. Baba Nanak ne bhi yahi kaha hai" was exchanged with "Ek noor te sab jag upaje. Baba Nanak ne bhi yehi kaha hai".
They were also asked to submit the dcumentary evidence for all the states and refrences made about te 1971 India-Pakistan war. After getting ten cuts the film is set to release onscreen on 11 August and the duration of the movie is said to be 2 hours and 50 minutes long.
